Dr. Marcus has been practicing urology since 1991 with specific emphasis in office-based minimally invasive treatment prostatic enlargement (BPH) namely Prostiva (TUNA) and microwave hypothermia. He also possesses specialized expertise in da Vinci robotic assisted laparoscopic urologic surgery.
Dr. Marcus received his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude with high honors in chemistry, from Kenyon College in 1981. He went on to attend medical school at the University Of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Following graduation in 1985, he completed his internship, surgical residency, and urology residency at Washington University (Barnes Hospital) in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Marcus is board certified with the American Board of Urology and holds membership with numerous medical societies such as the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association and the St. Louis Urological Society.
